What a year 2016 has been so far! I’ve discovered that Dallas truly is home to some amazing wedding venues, and I’ve been so fortunate to get to see a few of them while photographing weddings in the DFW Metroplex this season!

If you follow along on my Instagram and Facebook, you’ve probably seen a few photos from Sarah and Jason’s Perot Museum wedding by now! Visually speaking, this venue showcases breathtaking architecture and an incredibly chic backdrop that can truly fit any couples style. I was blown away by how the staff of the Perot Museum and all of the vendors involved in Sarah and Jason’s wedding day transformed the museum into an elegant space capable of holding tons of guests while setting the mood for a night of drinks, dancing, and laughter. After an outdoor wedding ceremony with the facade of the Perot Museum as a backdrop, friends and family enjoyed a progressive reception beginning on the top floor and ending with a big party on the ground level. Imagine how cool it would be to sip on a glass of wine amidst dinosaur fossil exhibits, or eating a salad surrounded by gorgeous sparkling geodes? Sarah and Jason’s vision for their big day was “modern and romantic,” which was totally achieved by decorating the Perot Museum’s vast contemporary space with soft florals and succulents – and oh, don’t forget the geodes!

The bride and groom looked like royalty and danced the night away, so in love and happy to laugh together that nothing else mattered. It was such a joy to be a part of this gorgeous Perot Museum wedding! Congratulations, Sarah and Jason – I am honored to be your wedding photographer and wish you years and years of happiness!
