Today I’m sharing Katie and James’ gorgeous, intimate Rockwall Wedding Chapel photos in Rockwall, Texas! Dustin’s family is from the Rowlett/Rockwall area, so it was wonderful to drive out that direction for a beautiful October wedding. I later discovered that Katie and I also happen to have a few mutual friends in common! I love when that happens, and even moreso loved the opportunity to connect with these two souls!

Katie and James met working at H&M. What began as a friendship developed into something deeper (a story many of us know!) and after some time matured into a romance. The two arranged for their families to meet one Easter, but little did Katie know that James was secretly working on a surprise proposal on that same day. He popped the question with their loved ones present, and the rest is history!

Katie and James are a very unique couple, and I loved their sense of style. They both stayed true to their personal tastes – for example, Katie opted to wear her glasses just about the whole day (we probably took maybe one or two photos without them – that’s all!) and James rocked a mighty beard! As a matter of fact, his custom groom cake basically memorialized his hat-wearing caricature in icing – soooo fun! The best part about the entire day was having the opportunity to witness and capture how much Katie and James adore one another. The more talkative of the two, James eyes gazed upon his gorgeous bride the entire day, and the way Katie smiled at just about every word James said communicated everything. These two are meant for each other – best friends and lovers, just as it was meant to me.
