Dallas is home to some beautiful backdrops for engagement sessions! Greenery, open fields, and natural spaces provide a super romantic look, but every now and then I get the privilege of working with a couple that wants a little something different. Sometimes it’s a street view with cafe lights, a colorful mural or two, and plenty of historic texture that perfectly fits the bill. That is just what Danielle and Alex requested for their engagement photos! With that in mind, I am so excited to share their Bishop Arts engagement session photographed near Downtown Dallas!

I absolutely loved spending time with this incredible couple. And, since Danielle and Alex live in Dallas proper, navigating the city felt effortless! An engagement session in Bishop Arts was as natural for them as breath itself!

Both Danielle and Alex are highly accomplished and intelligent individuals on their own, and together they are absolutely magnetic. What a force to be reckoned with! The pair was so easy to photograph – Alex has such a charming smile, and Danielle totally rocks a pair of heels with those legs! And aren’t her eyes just the most gorgeous shade of blue? Their energy and chemistry made my job as a photographer simple – make your couple feel comfortable and watch the magic unfold!

Danielle and I had the opportunity to sit down over coffee and discuss their wedding plans at length. Trust me, I could not be more excited about their big day! They will be tying the knot at the First Presbyterian Church of Woodbridge in New Jersey and then celebrating at Crystal Point Yacht Club in Point Pleasant. I cannot wait to fly to New Jersey and to be a part of what is sure to be such a gorgeous weekend! Danielle and Alex, thank you for the honor of capturing your love story!
