Authentic, down-to-earth, loyal, and smart. Those are just a few of the words that describe Jamie and Ross, whom I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing at their October wedding at Stonebridge Wedding and Events Venue in Blum, Texas. They are all together quick witted, curious, and adventurous – that’s without even mentioning how stylish and good-looking these two are!

Jamie and Ross met online and were instantly taken with one another. Ross puts it best, saying that one of the things that most struck him about Jamie was how fiercely convicted and unshaken she is in her beliefs. On a side note, he also reiterates that he was just blown away to simply be talking to such a gorgeous girl! The way that these two complement each other is a testament to God’s great design for marriage, and I have loved hearing about their past adventures and ones on which they continue to embark.

The wedding at Stonebridge Wedding and Events Venue was everything Jamie had envisioned and more. Jamie and Ross preferred romantic plums, dusty pinks, and soft greens with a muted gray for their palette. Mercury glass brought some texture to the beautiful reception details inside the wedding venue which was adorned just like a fairy tale. Stonebridge’s sprawling outdoor space was the perfect setting to make the couple’s wedding dreams come true, with one of the oldest oak trees in Texas under which Jamie and Ross’s vows were spoken.

Everything was beautiful, down to the very last detail – but Jamie’s deepest desire for her wedding day was that her friends and family would enjoy a weekend celebrating together – laughing, maybe even crying, and just enjoying one another’s presence. This was her sincerest wish, and I believe without a shadow of a doubt that it came true. I loved watching this couple be united as husband and wife and spend their day being uplifted by those who love and support them most. Isn’t that what a wedding celebration is all about?
