Engagement Photos at The Morgan Creek Barn in Aubrey

Sean and Diana have a story almost as beautiful as their smiles!  Long ago, they met briefly through their college ministry program on Diana’s birthday: October 28, 2010.  Diana says she made eye contact with a “shaggy haired guy” and the next morning awoke to that same guy’s Facebook friend request!  For five years, that’s just what they were – Facebook friends.  That is, until Sean reached out and they began talking in December of 2015.  Within a few days, Sean (who is a pilot – dreamy, right?!) convinced Diana to hop on his plane for a flight to their first date.  The good feeling Diana had about the “shaggy haired guy” she met all those years ago proved to be right!  The two fell head over heels in love.

A Picture Perfect Proposal

Their proposal story is straight out of the movies.  Sean and Diana’s friend worked together to trick her into thinking they were attending an anniversary party on her birthday.  When they arrived at the party, all of their friends and family jumped out and yelled, SURPRISE!  Now she thought she was at her surprise birthday party, but of course, her super romantic boyfriend had one more surprise up his sleeve.  Diana was led outside to see Sean under strands of lights, playing his guitar, singing her a song.  A song that was asking her to marry him, which of course, she said yes to.  They were absolutely thrilled for their big day, July 14, 2017, at the beautiful Morgan Creek Barn in Aubrey, Texas.

Sean and Diana were a blast to photograph.  Their love for one another and excitement for their upcoming wedding radiated.  They could not stop smiling throughout the entire engagement session.  The venue offered gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces to capture their love for each other.  The images of them looking at one another are my favorites because you can just see their delight in one another shine in their eyes.  Their love is genuine and pure, and that is a truly beautiful thing to capture!  I so enjoyed the opportunity to capture this milestone moment in their lives!
