There’s no denying it. When I first received Chandler’s email inquiring about photography for her upcoming wedding, I just knew I had to be a part of it. She had me from the get-go right at “my twin, Hannah, and I are having a double wedding in April.” That just sealed the deal! When else would I have the opportunity to celebrate two weddings and three families joining? Not likely to happen again!

I later met with Chandler, her twin sister Hannah, and their mother Laurie. We discussed their vision and needs, and how I could help to make it all happen. If there was any previous doubt in my mind whether we’d be a good fit, it was totally gone by then! I clicked so well with these two beautiful young ladies and their absolutely incredible family right away! The brides were (are) caring, genuine, and lovely. Later, I’d find out that their grooms were just as wonderful, and that all four were the product of such love and support from amazing families.

Chandler and Tanner were married on Friday afternoon at the Columbia LDS Temple. Hannah and Curtis’s ceremony took place on Saturday. Because both couples were traditionally sealed in the temple and photography is prohibited inside, there are no images of the actual ceremony itself. However, there was more than enough joy and excitement for each couple as they exited from the temple, united as husband and wife! An extended portrait session followed each ceremony. Finally, Saturday evening rolled around and everyone got to loosen up and PARTY at the wedding reception at Rockbridge Country Club in Columbia, SC!

Because there are just too many gorgeous images to put in one post, I’m splitting the weekend to make it easier to read! Today I am featuring candids and portraits from both couples’ ceremonies, and Wednesday will feature photos from their joint reception. Be prepared for a huge outpouring of joy and energy from each couple, their bridesmaids and groomsmen, and their families who all worked so hard to put together the celebration of a lifetime.
