Someone please take me back to this beautiful day last November – I can’t believe that it has almost been a year! For those of you asking, YES, I am still catching up on blogging some of the amazingly gorgeous weddings I captured a couple of seasons ago. To those same individuals, I’d say the wait is definitely worth it, haha! :) Today I am so happy to be featuring photos from Lauren and Sam’s joyful wedding at Bella Woods in Midlothian!

This Bella Woods wedding absolutely tops the list as one of my favorite weddings I’ve had the privilege of capturing. From the moment I met Lauren and Sam for coffee in Plano, I knew I just had to work with them! Lauren is so sweet and genuine with one of those smiles that just makes you feel like you won the lottery. Sam is so charming – he is just full of energy and laughter! Together, they make a beautiful pair who are clearly so loved and adored by family and friends. It is so easy to understand why!

I had never been to a Bella Woods wedding before, so Lauren and Sam’s wedding day at this gorgeous Dallas wedding venue was a first for me. I instantly fell in love! The chapel where Lauren and Sam chose to host their ceremony was something straight out of a fairytale. I loved the classic yet whimsical architecture with its elegant appointments. The reception space had a rustic vibe from the outside, but the inside was spacious and airy. Bella Woods was truly the perfect wedding venue for Lauren and Sam, and with floral styling by Venia Flowers and coordination by Lily Green Weddings, the day could not have gone more perfectly!

One of my favorite moments was Lauren and Sam’s letter exchange prior to the ceremony. This was an emotional moment that was filled with happy tears and laughter. You could just tell that Lauren and Sam wanted to soak in every moment and not rush a thing, although they were so darn excited to become husband and wife! It was also so much fun seeing the way that the families interacted together – they were truly thrilled to be expanding and adding to the family through Lauren and Sam’s union!
