Bohemian Inspired Wedding at La Cour Venue in McKinney

I love having the ability to revisit wedding venues in the Dallas area! Not only do the seasons change the quality of light and the “feel of a wedding, but each couples’ wedding day style is so unique! Just this past month I got to revisit La Cour Venue, which is a stunning wedding venue in McKinney with a New Orleans flair. This time I was there to celebrate Sarah and Trevor, a super sweet and fun couple whom I can now say are officially husband and wife!

Sarah and Trevor are high school sweethearts who met in a chemistry class eleven (ELEVEN!) years ago. They dated all throughout high school, but parted ways once they went off to college. The pair both ended up back in their hometown after their freshman year of college and were able to reignite that spark they remembered so well! Marriage was soon inevitable as they realized they didn’t want to spend their lives apart any further. Trevor proposed to Sarah at home before dinner one night by surprising her with the ring on a cutting board next to the vegetables she’d been prepping. She said that she was caught off-guard for the first time in her life!

Wedding Venue in McKinney is so versatile yet intimate! Sarah wanted a laid-back, bohemian inspired vibe for her big day, and I think everything came together perfectly. I loved the dreamcatchers that hung from one of the venue’s brick walls, providing a cute photo backdrop. I also thought that the vintage glasses set up on a table to be used as wedding favors was so unique! Most importantly, it was a blast getting to meet both Sarah and Trevor’s families who truly enjoyed watching these two tie the knot. Both families have such different dynamics in the best way possible, but the beauty of two families joining together as one BIG family is just magical. :)

Sarah and Trevor’s wedding at La Cour Venue in McKinney was such a wonderful way to spend one of my Saturdays this past wedding season.
