Anyone who knows me knows that I adore the color pink – so when Brittany met me at the South Carolina State Steps for her bridal session, I was elated to lay eyes on her! Seriously, I think I probably became a middle school version of myself and squealed a little bit! Brittany was the perfect picture of glamour, and from moment one I looked forward our session together! Although nowadays I am a Dallas Texas wedding photographer, the State Steps are still one of my favorite places to shoot portrait sessions, and as you’ll see, Brittany absolutely worked it!

Keeping in accordance with her wedding colors, Brittany held in her hands a fun, vibrant bouquet spilling over with fun, feminine blossoms and – even better – peacock feathers! Her strappy heels followed suit and provided the perfect pop of color beneath her gorgeous wedding gown. Speaking of which, I fell in love with the fit of Brittany’s gown and the cut out in the back – super unique and flirty, just like her personality! One of my favorite things about working with this beautiful bride was that every detail of her wedding was so carefully planned not just for the sake of planning in itself, but because it was of the utmost importance that it reflect her and her future husband’s personalities. Brittany’s South Carolina State Steps bridal session was a wonderful prelude to her wedding day, and I was thrilled to be able to capture every smile, laugh, and flirty expression Brittany gave the camera!
