Hooray! It’s my first post in my brand new blog – and since I haven’t done one in awhile, I found it fitting to post something a little more personal complete with some photos! Today I thought I’d dress Austyn up in some Christmas-y apparel and set her in the nursery to get some indoor portraits. I thought it would be a good idea to work on balancing my OCF and natural window lighting. Toddlers are the perfect models, right?? WRONG!

Sooo you might be able to tell that she wasn’t exactly feeling the yuletide spirit! Poor thing came down with a cold today, and was very, veeeery fussy…and had a huge case of the grumpies.

I gave her a stuffed animal – a vintage Pooh bear that I had to register for when I was expecting – and she soon started warming up to the camera just a bit. I guess she figured she couldn’t pass up blessing others with her cuteness. ;)

Sometimes, when I’m snapping photos of Austyn, I just have to go with the flow – guess that comes with the territory when you’re raising a 16-month-old, right?
