Oh, these two…what can I say? From the moment we first met…okay, let me start over, because I’m going to start sounding like I’m writing a love story. Which I can totally do, but that’d be weird. Moving on!

Lynn, Ronnie, and I hit it off right away over coffee when initially discussing their wedding plans. I came home that night telling my husband that I hadn’t laughed that hard with anyone (except for him, of course) in a LONG time. And I totally meant it! This couple doesn’t take themselves too seriously, which is great – because I don’t, either. This is a great trait to have! I feel that the moment I start taking myself too seriously is the moment that I let other people’s opinions and thoughts about me affect what I do!

It is extremely important to me that when I plan out an engagement session, I work with the couple to select a location that reflects their unique and individual personalities. Engagement photos should be a reflection of the couple’s energy and chemistry! That’s why Lynn and Ronnie agreed that an urban feel would match their fun, outgoing style. And boy, did it work out perfectly!

Their bold red and blue color combo was a perfect Southern compliment to the buildings among us, most notably the neutral grey-white of the State Steps. I loved the POP of vibrancy! It was easy to capture photos of the two of them laughing together because, simply put – it’s what they do best! Lynn’s spunky personality is such an amazing match for Ronnie’s ever-so-slightly more subdued sense of humor. I mean it when I say that there’s no way you can spend any time in this couple’s presence without leaving with a huge grin plastered on your face.

I hope that, for you, their happiness radiates off the screen as much as it does for me. This couple is so special, and I’m immensely lucky to be working with them. Lynn and Ronnie, we’re going to have even MORE fun at your wedding in October!
