Summer’s coming to a close, and as I look back, I realize that it has been just a little over a year since I moved to Columbia, South Carolina. Gosh, how the time flies! So much has changed – Austyn turned two, we moved TWICE, and my business has soared (praise God!). However, I’m still learning new things about this interesting little city – and that includes new places to shoot portrait sessions. I’m so glad Sarah and Tyler had the wonderful idea of meeting on the OTHER end of the Riverwalk – I think you’ll quickly see why!
Sarah and Tyler are such a beautiful couple, and their adorable dog Bentley is just the sweetest thing ever. Being a dog person myself, I could tell how much fun he was despite being a little anxious at our session. :) It was so cute seeing Bentley’s “expression” every time Sarah and Tyler kissed – seriously, he would look up and lick his nose as if begging to get in on the attention!
This future bride and groom met through mutual friends, and once they were ready to seal the deal, Tyler proposed in front of their parents! I had the opportunity to meet Sarah’s parents at their engagement session, and I can attest to how sweet and helpful they are!
You’ll pick up fast by looking at these photos that these two are so personable and down-to-earth. It really made photographing them incredibly easy, but it helps that they are both super photogenic. Speaking of which, can you imagine what a gorgeous bride Sarah is going to make? Come on…those eyes are just so beautiful, and her contagious smile and spirited nature is going to make photographing her wedding day so much fun. This is one celebration that I am so looking forward to – May can’t come soon enough!
Sarah and Tyler – thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for making me a part of your special day. I’m completely honored to get to know you two, and to capture your engagement + upcoming wedding day!
