It’s that time of year where we Dallas wedding photographers get to share lots of engagement sessions! Today, I’m thrilled to be sharing Diana and Josh’s Engagement Photos at Addison Circle Park on the blog today! Diana and Josh were one of the winners of a complimentary engagement session back when I did my Wedding Photography Giveaway, and it was great to finally get the opportunity to meet them in person. I’d been primarily corresponding with Diana as we discussed locations, outfits, and dates for their engagement photos at Addison Circle Park, and she was just as sweet and bubbly in person as she was over email! Even sweeter was how head-over-heels Diana and Josh were for one another. They deeply care and serve each other in every little gesture – what a joy to witness!

Diana and Josh live in the apartments at Addison Circle Park, which is a cute little area with retail, residential, and of course a large open recreational area. It really is the perfect spot for engagement photos in Dallas, and I’m really happy they suggested the location! We were able to explore some nooks and crannies that gave lots of backdrops and variety to their engagement photos at Addison Circle Park. I was thrilled to photograph the two and loved getting to know them. As a matter of fact, I asked Diana and Josh to share a bit about themselves so that my fellow readers could also learn about this gorgeous couple!

How did you two meet?

Josh: “We both worked at AT&T. I had just started my training and Diana had relocated to the store in Addison.”

How did he propose?

Diana: “Josh proposed on May 23, 2016 in Cabo San Lucas with the help of his brother (Johnny) and my maid of honor (Miriah). We all took a walk on the beach and at one point Miriah stopped to take a landscape photo of the sunset. She asked if Josh and I wanted to take a picture by the closer by the water. We talked toward the water and the next thing I know Josh was one knee asking me to marry him!”

Tell me about the details you’re most excited about for your upcoming wedding!

Diana: “We are both very excited to share this day with our family and closest friends. We are getting married at The Springs Events, Tuscany Hill in Anna, Tx. We will have a beautiful outdoor ceremony under a pergola. I personally am excited to not only have my Dad walk me down the aisle, but also have him marry us.”

What did you each wear to your session?

Josh: “I wore a dark grey suit, diana wore a back dress on our first set of pictures. I wore a blue casual button up and she wore a white button up and blue plants.”

Do you have any tips or advice for other couples about to have engagement photos taken?

Diana: “Relax, you’re in great hands! Be yourselves and just have fun.”

Tell me one interesting/unique/funny thing about one another!

Diana: “Josh is simply a goofball 24/7! I love that he makes me laugh every single day – whether it’s him crossing his eyes at dinner or just pretending to speak Japanese!”

Josh: “One thing that I can say that I find amazing about Diana is her kindness. She’s a very friendly, kindhearted and giving person. She will go above and beyond to make a stranger happy.”

Diana and Josh will be tying the knot on May 27th. I couldn’t be more excited for the two of them! Wishing you and your marriage many, many years of joy!
