It’s no secret that I absolutely love engagement sessions! If you go to my website, you’ll see that I include a complimentary engagement session in each of my packages. Why? It’s pretty simple – I just find it super beneficial to meet and get to know every couple whose wedding day I’ll be photographing. Couples experience first hand how I work/shoot/pose, while I learn a couples’ behavior when in front of the camera and how to best direct and photograph them. It is truly a win-win situation in every way you look at it, and as a Dallas Fort Worth wedding photographer, I will never stop stressing the importance of engagement sessions!
One of my most recent sessions brought me to the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens where I met the stunning Kaleigh and Ryan! These two will be tying the knot in October at The Ranch at Walnut Creek in Springtown, Texas. I am so excited for their big day! Kaleigh has emphasized more than once that their wedding is going to be a huge party, so I’m sincerely looking forward to capturing all of the FUN and energy from everyone celebrating their marriage and just having a good ‘ol time!
Kaleigh and Ryan met on Tinder and have today’s technology to thank for their blossoming relationship! “We both swiped right, and that’s where our story begins!” said Kaleigh! Ryan proposed to Kaleigh in Seattle while they were on vacation with his family. While exploring the Japanese Gardens, Ryan popped the question and then had Kaleigh turn around to see that her family was there, too! I absolutely love when grooms involve family and friends in their proposals!
As I mentioned, I just know that Kaleigh and Ryan’s wedding day is going to be a blast. She says that she is most excited for the celebration and having “family and friends all in one place…I hope our wedding is one giant party that everyone will enjoy.” Judging by how much we laughed at their engagement session, I’m sure that partying and having fun is going to be no problem at their wedding day! Seriously, they are just crazy hysterical to be around! Don’t let their fun-loving nature fool you, though – they are every bit of a power couple, as well. Kaleigh graduated high school in three years and graduated college in four years with two degrees. Meanwhile, Ryan has a dream job at Facebook – he told me all about his awesome benefits, and I have to admit I was a bit jealous! (I wouldn’t trade what I do for the world, in all honesty!)
Kaleigh and Ryan did an awesome job coordinating their engagement photo outfits. I loved how well they balanced their colors, one wearing a neutral while the other had a pop of color throughout their outfit changes. I also have to comment about how awesome Kaleigh’s makeup looked – she is just amazingly gorgeous, and those eyes of hers are to die for!
I loved shooting this engagement session at the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens and hope you enjoy learning about this wonderful couple – can’t wait for their wedding this October! Be sure to keep your eyes open for their wedding photos this fall!
Kaleigh and Ryan, thank you SO much for entrusting me with your memories!
