I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: there is nothing quite like connecting with fellow believers, especially when it comes to the possibility of photographing their wedding day. Something magical happens when I am privy to the promise a Bible believing couple makes before their Creator God. In a divine intersection, I realize and fulfill my calling as a wedding photographer and thank God for the privilege of preserving such memories.
Markie and Rob’s wedding was no different. Both bride and groom are servants of Christ and work at newspring church as worship leaders. Markie also serves the youth of newspring church in their fuse ministry. Many of you know that Dustin and I are both worship leaders at our church as well (his position is full-time and comes with many, many more responsibilities than mine) – so you can imagine how strong of a connection Markie and I made from our very first meeting! We clicked right away on so many different levels, and I feel so honored to have been selected as this beautiful couple’s wedding photographer.
Markie and Rob met in college and as it became clear where their relationship was heading, Rob proposed to this gorgeous woman of his dreams. The two were married at Certus Loft in Greenville, South Carolina with a romantic pink and gold theme. Their details were classic yet modern, enhanced by the contemporary atmosphere of the venue they selected. Everything was perfect, from the delicate petals brushing the center aisle to Markie and Rob’s energetic, heart-felt sparkler send-off. I am so thankful to know this couple, and look forward to seeing their marriage flourish under God’s direction!
