Soooo excited to share Rachel + Jeff’s Prairie Creek Park Engagement Session on the blog today! I absolutely love this couple, and meeting them was surely God’s plan! They are joyful, so considerate of one another, and love inviting others into their lives to share in their happiness. We’ve become great friends since our first coffee date!

When I first moved to the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I was pretty fresh out of ideas for beautiful spots to take engagement photos. Rachel and I discussed some possibilities, and my husband suggested some, too, but the problem is that Texas has no in-between seasons… it’s pretty much “dead or alive”! Rachel and Jeff definitely wanted a fall feel to their engagement session, so after much deliberation, we decided on Prairie Creek Park which is a picturesque little park/walking trail in Richardson. It was the perfect spot for their engagement session in the DFW area – I definitely plan on visiting again! We loved exploring the paths, the bridge, and even a waterfall that was set back in some foliage!

It’s so much fun discovering these little gems each time I photograph a new session – and spending time with amazing clients who become friends is a HUGE bonus! Enjoy!
