I absolutely loved getting to photograph Letty and Darwin’s engagement session! These two are so sweet and soft spoken, and it was a privilege getting to capture this special time in their lives together. The funny thing is that when Letty and I first connected, she reached out to me via phone. Usually I am unable to answer right away since I have both kids with me. This is why I usually prefer email! However, this time I felt like I needed to pick up right then (luckily Dustin was home), and I am so happy that I did!

Letty and Darwin definitely had a big undertaking. While most couples plan their wedding 12 to 18 months out, these two decided to get engaged and married within a few short months! Throughout their short engagement period, they have remained entirely level headed and stress-free. I can personally attest to that, as I just got off the phone chatting with Letty about some final details regarding her big day. As much as I know they will enjoy the celebratory aspect of their wedding day, I also know that they are just so thrilled to be husband and wife!

Having a White Rock Lake engagement session is an extremely popular idea among Dallas couples, so it is no surprise that Letty and Darwin also wanted their photos at this beautiful location. The fields, lakeside backdrop, and glowing sunsets are unmatched. It was important to them to take photos in a location where they could comfortably be themselves and have the focus remain on the love they share. I love that Letty even took her shoes off toward the end of their session for a few super relaxed seated poses on the dock at White Rock Lake!

This beautiful bride and groom-to-be are tying the knot TOMORROW at Hidden Creek in Heath, Texas! I can’t wait to celebrate them as the new Mr. and Mrs. Barco! In the meantime, enjoy some of my favorites from their White Rock Lake Engagement Session at sunset!
