One of my favorite things about being a photographer is when I have the opportunity to exercise my creative vision and style what, when, and how I want to shoot. That’s why when Rachael of Thryve Magazineasked if I would be interested in submitting a few options for the cover of her publication, I instantly said YES!
I absolutely love thumbing (or swiping, if you’re on the digital copy!) through the pages of this magazine because they are filled with inspiring visuals and encouraging words/stories. It’s rare to find a magazine geared toward women that also seeks to build them up and help embolden them to be vessels for Christ! From the website itself:
“Thryve Magazine is a place of community. Written by women, for women. Our mission is to inspire and empower women to not merely exist, but to live fully alive. And we believe that we can not fully live without being anchored in Jesus. He is life. Thryve is place where questions are met with truth and the mess in our lives are drenched with the grace of God. This is a place where we can walk together, no matter what season or stage of life we are in.”
Love, love, LOVE this – and I am just so blessed to be a part of an upcoming issue!
As for the model…you may recognize her from a certain St. Lucian wedding! Over the course of planning some of the details for Jackie and Danny’s destination wedding, and of course on the actual trip itself, we became fast friends and I felt so honored to get to know her better. Let me just say…she is the REAL deal, and her authenticity is why I asked her to be a part of this shoot. As gorgeous as she is on the outside, her beauty inside speaks even louder. She leaves a trail of light wherever she goes, and lives her life out as a true daughter of Christ. Enjoy!
