A Winter Wedding at La Cour

It has been a long time coming, but I’m excited it’s here! Especially with these crazy hot temperatures we’ve been getting here in Texas, taking a stroll down memory lane to visit one of my favorite fall/winter weddings is a seriously welcome diversion! With that, I’m happy to be sharing Sandy and Scott’s beautiful La Cour Venue wedding filled with the loveliest shades of lavender and greenery – but most importantly, a coming together of two wonderful families!

La Cour Venue has long been one of my favorite wedding venues in the Dallas metroplex. As always, the setting made a perfect backdrop for Sandy and Scott’s wedding day, which was eagerly anticipated by friends and family. When I initially had met with Sandy, she told me that she wanted to hold an intimate celebration with their closest friends and family members invited. I loved hearing all about the plans she was weaving together – although intimate, the wedding had the most gorgeous details, florals, and design! And her dress was to die for! Sandy is a stunning woman, and her wedding dress truly made her look like royalty!

We loved getting to meet Scott for the first time as well! He looked so dapper in his grey suit with touches of lavender in his bowtie and pocket square. Like many grooms, Scott was quiet at first, but he warmed up fast. After all, it was the happiest day of his life! Some of my favorite moments were seeing his reaction to Sandy during their first look and then again coming down the aisle. He simply could not contain his elation!

There was so much to love about this winter wedding at La Cour Venue in McKinney, but I think my favorite was witnessing the blending of two families. There was so much love on each side, and both Sandy and Scott’s children were truly so excited to see their parents so happy! I just love being a part of heartfelt celebrations like this!

Sandy and Scott, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day! Wishing you many years of adventure and travel together as husband and wife!
