A White Rock Lake Engagement Session

What a privilege to photograph Sam and Kimberly’s love story!  This lovely couple is fun and adventurous, and they love to try new things. They enjoy exploring new and exciting places, but their favorite thing is just living life together.  I can definitely relate to this!  When you meet “the one,” everything you do together is a treasured moment filled with contentment and delight in one another.

I just loved watching Sam and Kimberly interact at their session.  The way they looked at and clearly cherished each other was just beautiful. Just look at the way Sam gazes at Kimberly as if he is the luckiest man in the world!  And truly, he just might be!  They are both such a photogenic couple, but what really stood out to me as their Dallas engagement photographer was their chemistry.  It’s no small wonder that they are the perfect travel companions!

A Proposal in Puerto Rico

Sam planned a picture perfect proposal.  In typical Sam-and-Kimberly fashion, they traveled all the way to Puerto Rico to enjoy some time away together on the beach.  While soaking in the sand, sea, and salty air, Sam popped the question to Kimberly.  After witnessing it from behind my lens and in person, I can only imagine how bright and radiant her smile was in that moment!  Obviously, the beach is their “happy place” – because they are planning their wedding in Cancun at Dreams in Playa Mujeres!

After their beach proposal, they wanted to keep with the water theme for their engagement session.  White Rock Lake was the perfect environment for this, and it is right here in Dallas, Texas!  The couple was simply gorgeous as they embraced on the dock overlooking the water.  The image of Sam picking Kimberly up with her foot popped as they kissed and gazed into each others eyes was picture perfect. They were so relaxed and natural nestled amongst the lush green grass and mature trees that surrounded them.  White Rock Lake provided a stunning backdrop for their session; almost as stunning as the Kimberly and Sam!
