engagement session at the kimbell art museum and fort worth botanic gardens

I have seriously been looking forward to sharing this wonderful couple’s fun engagement photos at Fort Worth Botanic Gardens and the Kimbell Art Museum. They wanted a mixture of modern and romantic in their Fort Worth engagement session, and I’d say these two knocked it out of the park!  Halé and Jeff wanted to capture their personalities within the session  – their sense of humor, their enjoyment for life, and of course their love for each other.  They had a blast laughing, sharing sweet moments, and even enjoying champagne toasts!   

Halé is energetic, bubbly, and so much fun to be around – and just look at those gorgeous blue eyes! Jeff is handsome, witty, and simply hysterical – it is no small wonder that these two have such amazing chemistry!  Between the three of us, we laughed the entire time while capturing some amazing photos!

We chose the Botanic Gardens as a location because it’s where Jeff popped the big question!  Halé shared the story of their proposal describing it as “absolutely magical!”  Jeff had led Halé to believe they would be attending a concert in the gardens with a group of friends. But when they arrived, their friends “just so happened” to run late, allowing Jeff to suggest a nice afternoon stroll.  Once they stopped in the most beautiful part of the garden, he was down on one knee asking for Halé to spend forever with him – of course she tearfully and happily said YES!

He had a photographer capture the proposal, and Halé’s parents were hiding in the gardens as well. They celebrated with an intimate party of their closest friends. Jeff had even arranged one of Halé best friends to fly in from Denver. The entire proposal was extremely thoughtful and filled with love.

These two are such a wonderful couple, and so adoring of one another.  I asked Halé her favorite thing about Jeff, and she said, “…his sense of humor. Jeff truly makes me smile throughout each day. He makes our happiness a priority and that helps us face anything together. He truly is my love and best friend.”  Likewise, there are so many great things that make Halé the incredible woman she is – but Jeff’s favorite is “…her heart. It doesn’t matter what is going on in her life. She is willing to go above and beyond for anyone who is in need. The way she cares for her friends, family and students is beyond words.” I just love their answers!

The couple is so excited to bring their loved ones together on their wedding day at Brik Venue in Fort Worth!  It is guaranteed to be filled with love, laughter and “epic dance offs”!  WOO! We cannot wait to be a part of it all!
