Despite how crazy this fall has been with weddings almost every weekend, we have had so much fun with everything the season brings! I just love how temperatures start to drop (depending on the day when you’re in Texas) and everyone’s flavor palette begins embracing my favorite – PUMPKIN SPICE! Seriously, I’ve bought so much Pumpkin Spice coffee, CEREAL, even ENGLISH MUFFINS than I can imagine! I think I’m going to have to stock up soon before Christmas flavors start to take over!

On top of just hanging at home together, we’ve enjoyed fall festivals, pumpkin patches, and of course the Texas State Fair! You might be wondering about Halloween…wellllll. We had some SUPER CUTE costumes picked out, and although the kids got to wear them for our church’s Trunk or Treat, we didn’t get to go Trick-or-Treating due to some behavioral choices that were made. Y’all, parenting can be fun, as you can see by all of the super sweet photos below. But it can also be really hard, and I HATED having to “cancel” Trick-or-Treating. I cried that night. HOWEVER, we’ll be scheduling a little photo shoot with the kids here pretty soon!

I just LOVE seeing these two play together. Austyn loves taking care of her Buddy! And he LOVES coloring with her, too!


Sometimes she can be a little much…and most of the time, he puts up with it, LOL

Austyn has grown out of naps for the most part. So usually when Lincoln is napping, she reads in her room.


It’s a MUST to visit the Texas State Fair! Not sure how much the kids were loving it at this point, haha!


We may not have had a ton of time to carve a pumpkin, but we sure loved getting to visit a pumpkin patch to pick one out!

The best news of all – A HOME FOR CHRISTMAS! That’s right – we’re HOME OWNERS again! We are so excited to announce that we officially closed on our new home in Allen this past Monday and cannot wait to start moving in! God has blessed us abundantly!
