It’s about time to feature another gorgeous summer wedding! This time, I’m so pleased to share Brittany and David’s River Road and Jasmine House Wedding in Columbia, South Carolina!

If you’ve been following my blog for awhile, you know that this couple’s engagement session and the bride’s portraits were perfectly tailored to their history together, their personalities, and their vision. They truly had the wedding day of their dreams – a perfect way to begin their journey together as husband and wife!

The River Road and Jasmine House is one of my favorite places to photograph, but Brittany and David brought it to life in new, unique ways. I loved their vibrant color scheme – lots of hot pinks, purples, magentas, and turquose hues. With the way South Carolina heats up in the summer, the color palette seemed so fitting! They also worked in touches of peacock feathers here and there to add a little extra texture. One of my favorite moments of the day was their “Sandstorm” moment – as die-hard USC fans, they planned for the DJ to break out this classic techno song and passed out personalized towels for everyone to twirl above their heads! This couple, their wedding day, the bridal party, and the families were an absolute joy to photograph! So much heartfelt joy was present this hot South Carolina afternoon/evening, and I couldn’t have imagined a better way to celebrate this holy union. Congratulations, Brittany and David – and thank you for allowing me into your lives!
