This past Saturday I had the privilege of capturing Haley and Chris’s heartfelt fall wedding at Gleneagles Country Club! If you follow my blog with any sort of regularity, you might remember these two from their Arbor Hills engagement session over the summer (click that link to read more about their love story!). I absolutely loved getting to know Haley and Chris and was seriously looking forward to seeing them again for what I knew was going to be an incredibly meaningful day.
Haley and Chris chose a palette that celebrated the romance of fall with burgundy, blush, and a pop of navy. Rogue Rose and Pop Parties did a fabulous job of bringing this vision to life in an elegant way. I loved the pergola adorned with florals as the ceremony backdrop and the stately rose centerpieces in the reception space!
My absolute favorite moment of the day was Haley and Chris’s first look which was exchanged on Hole 16 of the Gleneagles Country Club golf course. This particular hole has a picturesque bridge that was dedicated to Chris’s father who passed away four years ago. I loved that Haley and Chris chose to honor his memory by sharing such a meaningful moment at this location. Chris was so excited to see his beautiful bride in her dress, and the moments shared soon thereafter were absolutely beautiful. We were sure to get plenty of portraits here with the bridge and warm sunlight as a perfect backdrop.
It was also such fun seeing Haley and Chris getting to PARTY with their friends and family that evening! They danced the night away after dinner and were on the dance floor almost the entire night! I even got to join in and had a BLAST with all of the music, laughter, and confetti!
Haley and Chris, it has been a blessing getting to know you both over the past several months. What a joy you are to all you have the privilege of meeting you! Wishing you all of my heartfelt best in your journey together as husband and wife!
