It’s not every day that you get to photograph the very first wedding at a brand new venue! When Madison reached out to me about capturing her wedding at Knotting Hill Place in Little Elm (north of the DFW metroplex), I jumped at the opportunity. Who wouldn’t want to be the first photographer at such a beautiful and unique venue? There is truly nothing else like it in our area! The venue looks like it could have just leapt off the pages of a storybook – but even more magical is Madison and Preston’s love story which was the real star of the day!

If you’re familiar with my blog, you might remember Madison and Preston’s Arbor Hills engagement session from this past winter. This is where I first learned about how they met during a middle school production of Beauty and the Beast (and yes, she was Belle and he was indeed The Beast!). It’s also where we TOTALLY NEXT LEVEL BONDED on on ALL OF THE THINGS DISNEY! On their wedding day, it was so much fun hearing their friends and family reminisce on all of the memories and experiences they’d had growing up together! Of course, the nod to Disney and all of its whimsical romance was real, but the focus remained on Madison and Preston’s commitment to serving and loving one another as husband and wife.

Getting to know Madison and Preston has truly been one of the highlights of my year. Who wouldn’t fall in love with Madison’s sweet, bubbly, and FUN personality and Preston’s easy-going, even-keel demeanor? Together they are perfect for one another, and I’m just the lucky photographer that got to capture the biggest day of their lives as husband and wife!
