Emily and Zack are an adorable couple and they couldn’t be more excited to get married on December 2, 2017. They have chosen the beautiful Rustic Grace Estate in Van Alstyne, Texas to hold both their ceremony and reception.  This venue is simply stunning!  It offers an adorable chapel, a classic red barn, outdoor space with a gorgeous pond and so much more.  Lucky me – I’m the one who gets the privilege of being their Dallas wedding photographer!

This couple is a prime example of timing being everything.  They grew up 10 minutes away from each other!  Zack and Emily went to the same high school, and were acquainted with each other’s brothers.  However, they never dated or actually even knew one another in high school!  

Zack went off to the University of Arkansas and Emily attended Oklahoma State.  While still attending their alma maters, they both ended up playing in a sand volleyball game in Plano on summer break.  As they say, “the rest is history!”  Zack ended up proposing on those very sand courts, which was a page taken right out of Emily’s fairy tale dreams!

The Beauty of Their Love, Captured

These two are precious and have so much love between them. I had such a great time capturing their engagement session, and it has left me with so much excitement to see them again on their big day in December. It was a great day at Lakeside Park, spent with the lovebirds and their fur baby, Oakley. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, or lighting for that matter! They smiled, kissed and (as you can see!) danced their way into some truly great images which captured the essence and beauty of their relationship perfectly! 

It was an honor to photograph Emily and Zack’s Lakeside Park engagement session! I saw so much love and joy between these two. I can’t wait to see them again on their big day!
