Set among plenty of weeping willow trees and nestled beside a beautiful lake, Dunes West in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina is one of the most romantic venues I’ve visited, especially for a mid-summer wedding. Tana and Joseph were united as husband and wife on July 4th, and I was so privileged to capture the memories they will forever treasure! Imagine my delight as I sat back, watching the ceremony unfold, and then turned to look over the lake only to find a bird soaring over with outstretched wings. It truly doesn’t get much more peaceful than that!

Joseph is definitely the strong, silent type, but he is also a loyal man of his word. He is the type who says what he means, and means what he says. Tana is cool and confident, and the epitome of elegance! I truly enjoyed chatting with her while she prepared for her wedding day, and was impressed at how unnerved she remained. Together as husband and wife, Tana and Joseph will definitely be a power couple!

During the reception, Tana and Joseph celebrated the vows they made to one another and were the life of the biggest party you’ve ever seen. They danced the night away while firecrackers were set off in the distance, lighting up the night sky with a fiery brilliance that reflected upon the waters.
