Oh, how I LOVE bridal sessions! As a wedding photographer, I get the most wonderful VIP sneak peek at the bride before her big day! However, this case was even MORE special, because I got to photograph someone incredibly special to me – my sister-in-law’s Red Corral Ranch Bridal Session!
When Danita asked me to photograph her bridal portraits, I (of course) was happy to oblige! Dustin and I were slated to be in the wedding, so I wasn’t able to photograph the wedding day itself. But having her ALL TO MYSELF for an hour BEFORE the wedding day was such a treat!
Danita, her mom, my husband Dustin, and I all drove to Wimberly, Texas to have her bridal portraits taken at Red Corral Ranch. The Texas Hill Country was the perfect backdrop for her photos, and her dress was probably the most unique I’ve ever seen. I have never photographed a wedding before where the bride was bold enough to combine purple and blue, but Danita’s vision was perfect. Her custom made dress was influenced by her love for whimsical, historic garb and suited her better than I could have ever imagined.
I loved spending time with my gorgeous sister and could not have asked for a better bridal session at Red Corral Ranch. Now that I have had the opportunity to photograph there and witness her beautiful wedding day in the Hill Country, I’m hoping to shoot a wedding there soon!
Danita, thank you so much for allowing me the honor of providing your bridal portraits! You are gorgeous, inside and out!
