Engagement Photos at TCU Campus

Life is an adventure. Getting to share that adventure with people you love makes the journey that much more exciting. I love hearing stories of how people met, where they fell in love, and the changes they’ve endured together.

Katie and Scott met when they were both in college at Texas Christian University. They lived in the same dorm, just a few doors apart, and quickly became best friends. They officially started dating the following year and soon found themselves falling deeply in love with one another.

A Romantic Surf Side Engagement

When Scott headed to Maryland for his residency after grad school, Katie followed as a traveling nurse. Soon her travels took her to California, where Scott headed for spring break to surprise her with a romantic proposal on the beach. Her parents, aunt, and even her two grandmothers were there to celebrate the newly engaged couple with flowers, cake, and champagne. Katie had no idea the proposal was in the works!

When it came time for engagement photos, they chose TCU campus as it’s where their story began, and they spent so much time growing as individuals and a couple. They were so laid back and fun, and it really made it easy to capture their love for each other. We even grabbed some photos in front of Frog Fountain, which is where Scott first asked Katie to be his girlfriend.

It’s so touching to see a love story like theirs come full circle. From friends in college, to dating through grad school and first jobs, to engaged and starting their careers together…These two have gotten to grow and evolve through life together. They’re in it for the long haul, and I know they have so many more adventures to look forward to ahead.
